I have been going to Maria Powell at Happy Lashes (at both the Monterey Blvd and Alameda locations) for over 3 years, and cannot imagine my lashes (or my life!) without her. This review is obviously long overdue.
Once you start getting your lashes done at Happy Lashes, don’t be surprised if you end up hooked for life. It may seem like an indulgence to get your lashes refilled every 3-4 weeks, but it makes such a huge difference (and costs less than going to the spa or getting a massage every month) — it’s absolutely worth it. I never have to wear mascara, rarely even use eyeliner, and – best of all – I haven’t used an eyelash curler for over 3 years!
Maria is a master lash artist, and is incredibly kind and hardworking. She has given me a range of looks: dramatic lashes for special occasions, as well as more natural lashes for everyday. I just adore her, and am proud to support a local, woman-owned small business. Go to Happy Lashes – you will not regret it!
